When the European and Asian Retaliatory Tariffs hit all this Republican maneuvering will be for nought. Trump’s Tariff policies will cost Virginia’s economy $41 billion dollars. It will hit farmers, fisherman, forestry, and breweries. Decreased exports from these industries will cause a upsurge in unemployment and further depressing economic growth. I believe the economic impact will influence the November elections all across the U.S.
