What’s For Dinner?

We were discussing a common question that comes up in all families. What should we have for dinner?

Wife: “I’m tired of eating leftover Turkey or Ham from the Holidays. It's up to you, Hank, it’s your turn to cook!”

Daughter: “No more Italian food! We eat too much lasagna, pasta dishes, and pizza.”

Me: “I don’t know what I want. I had hoped you guys would provide the inspiration.”

Suddenly my daughter exclaimed, “Dad, look at the patio door!”

Wife: “It looks like a shadow of a pig in our backyard!”

Me: “Pumbaa!” The universe seems to have provided the answer to our question.

Later that evening, we sat down to a dinner of barbeque pork ribs, chops, and all the fixings. We ate like pigs!
