Universe Chooses Star Trek Over Star Wars
War of the franchise’s end
On the bridge of the USS Enterprise in orbit around Earth after time traveling to the year, 2019:
Spock: “Fascinating”
Captain Kirk: “What is, Spock?”
Spock: “Scans of the planet Mar’s southeast Hellas Planitia dune displays a remarkable image, Captain”
Captain Kirk: “On screen, Mr. Spock!”
At that moment Dr. McCoy enters the bridge and pauses to study the image on the screen.
Dr. McCoy: “Well there’s no doubt about it, Jim, I completed the examination on that body that we recovered before our arrival here on Earth.”
Captain Kirk: “Your analysis, Doctor?”
Dr. McCoy: “Simple. He’s dead, Jim!”
Captain Kirk: “Then it’s settled. That image on Mars is a sign of surrender by the enemy”
Dr. McCoy: “They killed Han Solo!”
Spock: “Which in turn killed the Star Wars Franchise or at least made it less important in the scheme of things, Doctor.”
All three of the men smiled. The scene fades as the Star Trek Theme music plays.
