It has been a horrible month of August for Trump and he had another terrible week. The guilty verdicts of 8 charges for Paul Manafort and the 8 guilty pleas of Michael Cohen has made the “Dotard In Chief” more unhinged than ever. He says that Manafort is a great guy and says that Robert Mueller has unfairly “Al Caponed” him. He also stated that Michael Cohen was a lawyer that he sometimes used but who did very little for him. Was he hired only to get Trump covfefe? One of the few saner Republicans in Congress, John McCain passed away on the anniversary of Ted Kennedy’s death, who also died of brain cancer, both passed away on August 25th. Although they both were on opposing sides of politics, they both corroborated on bills that benefited the Country and not political parties which is now a forgotten traditional policy of Washington D.C. politics. Now that tradition seems to have died along with their passing. John McCain also publicly denounced the Reptilian screed of “Birtherism” that was often leveled at President Obama that he was not born in the U.S. We may mourn Mr. McCain’s passing for his dedicated public service of over 3 decades of Congressional service, as a Vietnam War Hero, and as a strong advocate of American values and morals. We may not agree with his politics but we can honestly say that he was a true American patriot…
