Totally agree that concerts have become shows where every note and chord and timing is perfection. I like the concerts that I remember from bands from my younger days that sound more authentic with mistakes and miscues and all. You can pick up how the band members relate to each other by listening to their interaction as they play. The Rolling Stones are going on their forever goodbye tour again next year through 19 U.S. cities. They put on concerts and not as you pointed out shows. It is a shame that real concerts are happening less and less in this digital age. I mourn its loss. Good read, Mark. Thanks.
