This morning, 8 students from Maryland held a sit-in protest as a rapid response action against school shootings at House Leader Paul Ryan’s office to protest Congressional inaction on gun control, 4 of the school students were arrested for trespassing and blocking a doorway. Ted Cruz offered more useless “Thoughts and Prayers” which is a standard statement which now has become meaningless to most people. Lieutenant Governor of Texas complains that there are too many doors, entrances, and exits at the school. The school has 1500 students, not counting teachers and staff. It would be beyond stupid and irresponsible to limit building exits when a shooting or an emergency like a fire happens. How are people going to escape if there are fewer exits? Moronic thinking. Trump says what happened today at the school was horrific. He says that more discussions and suggestions are needed. The Columbine School happened on April 20, 1999.
