Today is Sunday, and finally, the weather is nice and warm with the sun shining beautifully. I’m outside checking the condition of the front yard flower garden to see the extent of damage from the recent high wave of thunderstorms and flooding that afflicted our area. I had thought that the fact that it is Sunday, I wouldn’t be bothered by phone calls or people interrupting my garden inspection. I am so wrong in my assumption. Human Spam began to show up to accost me within the hour! Here is a list of them…

1. 3 different church groups from different denominations out recruiting new members. I always felt that all religions have a right to increase their membership and not wanting to be rude; I greeted them, shook their hands, informed them that I already am a practicing member of my religion for 50 years, thanked them and wish them a good day. One gentleman insisted that my beliefs will send me to hell and he insisted that he read a bible passage to me. He profoundly tried my patience and I don’t think his God wanted him to be annoying but he was borderline insulting. He represented his church poorly, I thought.
2. 2 different real estate agents came by minutes apart. One handed me a free calendar and business card, the other a free magnetic shopping list pad and card. I hope the guy with the free shopping list pad shows up again next…
