Summertime is when I usually bathe in a mixture of suntan lotion and Deet. All manner of insects stays away from me. But unfortunately, so do kids, pets, spouse, all animal life, and most of humankind. But, I get fabulous amounts of privacy and alone time. For me, it balances out. I’ve often been called or known as “Hank the Summer Hermit.”
