Our society is reverting back from a developing civil society to outright “Tribalism” Yes, I know I’m using another “ism” but forgive me. The point I trying to make is that critical thinking is no longer emphasized in our education system and everything is now learn by rote. A tribe member would say if you don’t think like me and agree with what I say then you are not one of us. “What Aboutism” is hurled at you and you are cast out of their circle as if you were a Leper.
