I am beyond words at the contempt that President Trump seems to harbor toward my fellow vets in the military. His no show at the American Cemetery in France where almost 2,000 American dead from WWI are buried was because it was raining. His no show at the Arlington National Cemetery where the honored dead from every branch of the military, from every conflict that America has fought in are buried, because he was too busy even though his staff has said the President’s schedule was cleared of any events. These Presidential no shows happened on Veteran’s day weekend. A day that all Americans across the U.S. was commemorating. Trump did say in a interview with Chris Wallace of Fox News that upon further reflection, (meaning public backlash) he regrets not going.
It was also at this same interview that Trump began lashing out at Admiral McRaven who was the Special Operations Commander who was in charge of the Seal Team 6 operation that killed Osama Bin Laden. Trump accused McRaven of being a Hillary Clinton Fan and that McRaven should have found Osama Bin Laden and killed him much sooner.
