Interesting story. Perhaps I’m thinking too deeply but The main character in your story asks “What in the 7 hells is going on?” In Dante’s Inferno, there are 9 Circles Of Hell. According to Dante’, the 7th Circle Of Hell is violence. Sinners who commit violence to their Neighbors, Self, and God, Nature, and Art are punished here. The 9th Circle Of Hell is where Satan himself resides. The 9th Circle Of Hell is where sinners who commit treason are punished. Is the Pied Piper “Satan” who is punishing the main character of your story for committing violence in trying to destroy the Virus Bug (Art)? If it’s not as deep as that and you are using poetic license than its cool too! It’s still a good read and Thanks, Indira!
