I once wrote a letter to a friend about how some people make wrong assumptions on the definitions of certain words of the English language which they may not be familiar with, that I found to be humorous. For example, the words “Auto Eroticism” in an article reporting David Carradine’s death by it. Some people thought he died in a car accident while masturbating. Some thought he died while engaged in a method of making love to a car. Some thought the word “Auto” meant some kind of robotic hand that went amok killing Carradine. Although Carradine’s death was tragic, the wrong definitions and assumptions of auto eroticism made it funny. I might reprint portions of that letter to my friend and publish it as a future humor post on Medium. What do you think about that Robert? Thanks for your post!
