I know of what you speak, I used to ski in my youth. The title of my story comes from the popular 1980’s movie trilogy “Karate Kid” where Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita) was training Daniel (Ralph Macchio) in Karate. He had Daniel learn to block punches by waxing Mr. Miyagi’s cars. Left hand for rubbing wax on and right hand for rubbing wax off the car. Mr. Miyagi called it his “Wax On, Wax Off” self-defense move.
