But long story short, The American Psychiatric Association (APA) decided not to include extreme racism in the “DSM V” (A Manual Of Personality Disorders), which was also updated in 2012. The APA was also worried it would send the message that racists couldn’t control their beliefs, and so they would do little to change them. Racism is not a mental health issue, it is an excuse like blaming Ambien. You have to ask yourself, “Why only a small segment of the White Population have this mental health disorder problem? Also why a large majority of mass shooting perpetrators seem to have this mental health disorders as an excuse? Trump is in a whole different category by himself. He is Cold, Calculating, and Predatory in his actions, his words, and behavior. He is like all the bad guy caricatures we see in the movies, seemingly Psychopathic.
