Awesome post, Joseph! I agree that Silent Sam should carted away into History’s dumpster. Despite the all the Civil War Revisionists calculated claim that the war was not about “Slavery” but about State’s Rights. I never quite understood how a treasonous insurgent action to tear our country apart can possibly be considered as a “Valorous And Honorable” movement worthy of respect.
