A beautiful story about a perfect way to spend a birthday! I am reminded that it has been a couple of years since I last went to Pismo Beach California. I used to go there, purchase a day permit to go clam digging and seashell collecting. I would bring back home a bucket of clams and I would make clam chowder in bread bowls for my family. It was always a great way to spend a day at the beach. I need to do that again next summer. Thanks for the great story, White Feather!
